Awana Clubs

September - May

Dinner: 4:45 - 5:20 pm

Club: 5:30 - 7:15 pm

What is AWANA?

 

Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. Awana Clubs International  supplies programs, materials, and training for more than 12,000 churches in over 110 countries.

 

 

The Program

 

Each club night kids are signed in by their parents and enter the sanctuary for opening ceremonies

 

Opening Ceremony

Includes flag ceremony, prayer, worship, and  singing anthems.

 

Council Time (Large Group)

Includes biblical teaching through the use of skits, puppets, object lessons and guest speakers.

 

Handbook Time

Provides children with the opportunity to develop relationships in a small group while working together on memorizing scripture.

 

Game Time

Provides clubbers the opportunity to participate as team members in physical activities, which can help develop team spirit, good sportsmanship, coordination skills, and have lots of fun.

 

Closing Ceremony

Includes announcements, awards, and prayer. Parents should arrive at 7:00 to participate in the Closing Ceremony.

 

Age Groups

 

Cubbies - Preschool boys and girls ages 3,4, and 5.

 

Sparks - Boys and Girls in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades.

 

Truth & Training (T&T) - Boys and Girls in 3rd and 4th grades.

How do I Register?

 

Simply complete the registration/medical release form available at the church and pay the registration fee of $20

The $20 covers the cost of your child's uniform, handbook, awards, and other surprises throughout the club year.

Scholorships are available.
